Another Day in Paradise

As you can our yard is really starting to look great again. Pat and I started working in the yard this morning about 8:15 and worked until lunch time. It was just a beautiful morning and a great day to be in the yard. As you can see the new sod is really taking hold and is looking great. We mowed, edged. weed eated and pulled dead grass from bad areas. I also fix three sprinklers which is staring to be a full time job. When we finished I put out just a little more fertilizer is areas that needed just a shot. Pat and I have always taken pride in our yard and enjoy working in it. as long as our health holds out we will keep the yard man away.

Tonight I am make a pot of Jambalaya, Pat and I enjoy it and i enjoy making it. I thought I would show you some of the ingredients that are used. The most important ingredient is the Chick Stock instead of water. It makes it so rich and tasty you just can't do with out it. On Sunday we have been invited over to my Daughter Darenda home for our Birthday dinner. Mine is Sunday the 18th and Pats is the 21st. Works well we can get it all put away in one shot.

I visited one of my friends that is in Manatee M H. His in our Sunday school class and we have all been praying for him for weeks. he is doing well now and he is what answered Prayer is all about. Well, have a Blessed week end and be a Blessing to some one today. “[Love, for the Day is Near] Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.”
