Paw Paws Place

Sandy and James were able to play tourist for a number of days while they were here. I guess they rally don't play as they are tourist in some fashion. I am not into much of that but on Friday we went to Tarpon Springs and I am glad I went as I enjoyed it. The heat was really showing its mighty strength as it hit 99 degrees. But walking in and out of the air conditioned stores gave us a little break. I found that most of the stores must have imported from the same town in China as there were a lot of the same items in each store. We did eat in a real nice Greek restaurant by the name of Hellas. The food was very good and I think we all got our bellies full. I ate a sandwich called Souvlaki which had the following items in it on pita bread. The items are as follows, chunks of marinated pork, sliced onions, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. Pat had chicken fingers on pita bread with lettuce and tomatoes. Sandy and James shared a combination platter which had, Gyro, Mousaka, Pasititiso, ...

This was a great fathers day treat for me "fishing"! Sandy and James came down for a visit with us and we went fishing on Father's Day. As you can see we had a great time and caught fish. Sandy out fished all of us as she never quit catching. She caught then all, Lady fish, shark and tons of Pig Fish. The rest of us caught Mackerel, Snapper and what ever... The weather was just great and we all had a good time. We fished from about 7:30 AM until about 1:30. We spent some time under the Sky Way bridge with the strong current and all. We took about 28 pictures but as you can see I showed you just a tad of them. Prior to Sunday we spent Saturday evening at the Marvins and celebrated an early Fathers day. Darenda cooked some yummy Cajun dishes which was enjoyed by all. She made shrimp Etoufee and Crayfish Pie. As you can see everyone had a great time even "Bear".
