Paw Paws Place

Well we went on our Lake Okeechobee fishing trip with the boys this week. We left on Tuesday morning about 9 am, we would have left on Monday but I had to have a tooth pulled. I had a jaw tooth pulled and cut out and what ever on Monday. I really did not know it was going to be such a big deal, and it wasn't. On our way to the Lake we stopped in Arcadia at the Sonic for lunch. We really loaded up on carbs for the day. We were on the Lake by about 2 pm and fished until about 5:30 or so. We did not catch any fish but we had a good time with the boys. As you can see Luke might have gotten a little cold as he is wrapped up. Both the boys enjoy being the captain of the boat and I enjoy letting them. Tyler has gotten really good on handling the boat properly. But every once in a while he starts to play and I have to remind him that it is not a toy. This day we went through the Lock and explained to the boys what the function was. Today is a day not made in heaven for me. I had to have a jaw tooth cut out, and it does hurt somewhat. My dentist told me that he would rate it in his top 10 for being one of the worst he has done. I am now getting to the point where I will need several bridges made so that I can chew. Man this getting old is so much fun, I can hardly stand it. As you see I have our boat home today, I need to check it all out. We are taking the boys to Lake Okeechobee for a fun fishing trip. Luke has never been there and he is really excited and Tyler is too. Our boat is 21ft long and it really great for family fishing. It is so much fun building memories for the boys. I have none for my child hood, so I want to make it happen for them. Pat is an excellent grandma as she plays and does things with them all the time.
