Getting close to being complete!
Today the carpet was installed in out room, and it looks really nice. Pat has put some of the things back in the room but is not completely finished as you can see. We will be hanging some pictures and we have one more piece of furniture to put in. It is will be my job to clean it up and get it painted. I will try to get it done this week or this weekend.
I was able to get the stitches out of my finger so I have no more excuses left. I think in my mind I milked this cut and I mean cut (minor) as long as I can. Even I will start laughing pretty soon when I look at it.
I have found out that my Grandson Luke is doing a paper about his family and where they came from. I was able to find some pictures of where my father was born. So I am sharing them with you along with a picture of him when he was in his twenties.
I have read that a lot of Gator’s are jumping ship and going into the NFL draft. You can’t blame them as the money is too much to turn down. I am sure that the Gators will have a new look next year with them all leaving. Tonight the basketball team will play number 2 Kentucky. The Gators have 4 losses and will have 5 after tonight. They are a young team who cannot shoot from the perimeter consistently and they are weak in the paint.
Pat has made some Chili for supper tonight so I better log off. It is getting close to supper time and I don’t want to be late.
You be Blessed today and be a Blessing to someone.

Mr. Gallo,
ReplyDeleteHey there "Dad"..It's Jennifer Sklerov. I just spent an hour or so reading your blog. I only got back to Aug. and the trip to Cracker Barrel, but I must say, you guys live an active and interesting life! The room addiotn looks great. What inspired it? I want you to do me a favor. Please tell Mrs. Gallo "Thank You" for the last 20 something yrs. of faithful cards in the mail. I cherish every one of them. She is so selfless to think of EVERYONE! I am feeling guilty that I've never swung by to see you in the times we've come home to Bradenton. We only come every other yr or so, but next time I want to come over. You were such an influence on me in my teen yrs (not sure if you knew that). Pretty much were the father figure I needed. Tell the Marvins hello for me. We never seem to keep in very good touch. My email is: jjkalt@hotmail.com...please drop me a note so I know you got this. Love you and God Bless!
Dad- the room looks great! Can't wait to see it in person! Nice of Jennifer to leave such a sweet note, she was always a great girl. Haven't seen her I think since Darenda's wedding!!!!
