Another Florida Win over Georgia

We had a great weekend as we went to the Fla – Ga football game in Jacksonville. I have a few stories to tell that I think are funny.
On our way to Jax we stopped at a Cracker Barrel restaurant for lunch. After I had eaten and drank much tea, I thought it wise to go to the restroom prior to getting back on the road. As I entered the restroom there was a rather tall gentleman at the latrine. I noticed that someone had left the faucet running in the sink. As I went by it I turned it off, not wanting to waste water. The man at the latrine grunted something which I did not understand. He abruptly zipped up and left as he was leaving this is what he said. “Damn Gator, I told you not to turn off the water”. As I was decked out in all my finest gator ware I was identified. Now I know what he said when I came in and also why he said it.
We had a great day at the game with only one incident. As I was walking to the restroom from the tailgate party this happened. I walked through an area that a Ga fan and her husband were sitting. She said to me “that is rude to walk here, go around me.” I said, “Excuse me”, and she repeated herself. Well now I could not let that go by as I could see she was drunk. I ask her if she owned the land and did she realize it was just a football game. She mumbled something and her husband laughed at her. He said he had told her to cool it all day. I then just said “you have a Blessed day”, and did that ever set her off. I just wish that I could have found her after the game, what fun that would have been.

We stayed at our friend beach house on South Ponte Vedra. Here are some pictures of their home and views from the observation tower of the back and front view. It is a beautiful place to visit and stay; we are privilege to be able to do so.

Have a blessed day and be Blessed.
Encouraging Words
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
