Slowed down but not stopped!
This past memorial day was a day to remember. Pat and I went to visit our daughter Sandy and her husband James. We were planning on spending several days there and then bring Sandy home for a visit. (great plans)
On Saturday morning James and I went to town and got a truck load of good soil. James was going to break up the hard Georgia clay and make a plant bed for Sandy.
While everyone was working and I was watching I decided to help by mowing the lawn. As you can see Sandy and James have a beautiful home on a small hill. At least I thought it was a small hill (what does a flat lander know).
By the way, if you have a chance check out this web site. I am very proud of what my daughter Sandy is doing.

While mowing I did not pay close attention like James told me to do. As I was coming down the hill backwards I tipped the mower over which threw me to the hard Georgia ground. As they say "pop goes the weasel", only this time it was "pop goes my femur bone, the ball that goes into my hip"! So much for the vacation. I am looking forward to going back up soon. I am going to eat food from James new smoker but no mowing...ha
I am recouping well and can walk with out a cane at this time. But when I walk too much I feel like the picture you see below.
Well till we meet again, may God Bless you and yours!By the way, if you have a chance check out this web site. I am very proud of what my daughter Sandy is doing.
