Rain, Rain Go Away!
Well I know I told you guys that I was going
fishing with my grandsons at Lake “O”. But as you can see the weather is really not all that great. It is 8:40 in the morning and my garage lights are still on (photo cell). The sky is really gloomy and has been raining off and on. Looking at the potential bad weather at the Lake Pat and I decided not to chance it.
As you can see we had a little vandalism in the neighborhood last night. There were several mail boxes that looked like this one found. Also they took up a flashing warning sign and moved it away from where it was warning people. The irony of this is that we have just formed a rather large neighborhood watch program. We have signs all over the place (including my yard) that “we are watching”. Until we did that I cannot remember any problems like that, I guess it is a challenge to kids, oh well..
Yesterday morning at our classmate’s breakfast we had 11 old farts there. As usual it was a great time for all of us. I wish we could get more guys to come as there are many who live here. But we will enjoy who does come and we will talk about those who don’t (ha) I understand that the girls who meet the same day for lunch also had a real nice group. It is hard to fathom but I have to describe them as a bunch of sweet old ladies ha ha…
It is time to get on with whatever I am going to do today. I have already been to the lab and had my blood work done so now I am free. I know tonight we are going to a Sunday school dinner at the home of Keith Clark. So I guess I will have to be on my best behavior or Pat will whomp me! Whomp is short for “whip my bu..”
Please be Blessed today and be a Blessing to someone!
Our hearts are heavy for those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, as well as the families who are dealing with the devastation from afar. It is our prayer that sufficient aid is given to Haiti as they recover and that the hearts of those who have lost loved ones find healing through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

.“[Ask, Seek, Knock] "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)
