" What Ever"

Today was a “get nothing done day”. I was at City Hall about 7:15 AM and went over the upcoming agenda. Looks like we are going to have a cat fight over a decision on stadium lights at BCS. Some neighbors do not want them and some do, that puts us right in the middle.

I picked up my son-laws car and took it to a friend of mine for work. After several hours I had Pat come and get me as he had to order part. I will pick it up some time this afternoon.

I came home did some cleaning in the room and measured the windows. Pat has picked out blinds and I needed to be sure of the width. I guess I am going to hang them soon. (I feel like Popeye) As the old saying goes “I will get it done Newt”!

I picked up our tickets for Friday nights High school football game. Manatee is playing the number 1 team in the nation, St. Thomas. I have a good feeling about the game, our kids are ready. Tonight we will go the Beef’s and hear our coach talk about the game.

WoW... what a weekend!

Pat and I flew to Pittsburgh last Friday to see Manatee play football. we also took in a couple of Pittsburgh baseball games. I can't say much for the Pirates but the Hurricanes were great. We were on the same plane as the team, it was fun. Friday night we were invited to a private box to watch the baseball game. It was a great way to see the game. A lot of food and many friends to visit with. As you can see we also had a big desert cart. I made a mistake and ate a big piece of carrot cake and the next my sugar crashed about noon, but it was worth it. Saturday morning Pat and I walked down to the Rib Fest that was down at the Steelers stadium. They also had a marathon with 6,000 people running in it, yes 6,000. I tried to take some photos of the first people coming into the stadium. I don't think they turned out to well. We met some friends for lunch at Jerome Bettis's sports bar. Good Friday 2020

Dear Pat, I love you and miss you very much. This terrible virus that is all over this world s taking many lives. I have been home for 28 days now and it is not very much fun. Doug and Tyler are still having to go to work. School has been shut down state wide so Luke is staying home also. As God would have it Darenda changing jobs was a great move, she gets to work from home. Tyler is staying out on the Island in the Marvin's condo by his self. I don't know when this mess will be over, I just pray that no one in our family gets sick. Take care Darling and enjoy Easter in Heaven with all the angels.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2012

Merry Christmas to all my friends and family   After what has happened in Newtown, Conn it is with a heavy heart that I enter the new year coming in. I just can not imagine how the parents and families feel, it just breaks my heart.   I sit an wonder what can we do to prevent this from occurring again. I can not come up with any logical ideas other than prayer. We must, must pray that our Lord provides us with a solution. We must pray that our leaders in this country help, some how. We must cuddle our children and grandchildren each day and show the our love and Gods love.   Prayer must be put back in the schools, in some families this may be the only place Gods name will be mentioned. There is no doubt in my mind that the devil is creating these issues. We must pray that all our children and parents let God into their hearts to guide and direct them. Jesus can and will help if we let him into our hearts and lives.   I pray that Gods love will be in everything you say,
