Orange Ridge Bullock School

Image
The church that I attend, "Bethel Baptist" adopted Orange Ridge School several years ago. We have provided a program called "A Day of Hope". It is something that our Pastor and members felt led to do. This year is a little sad as Orange Ridge has been closed down. This year we had two children come to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. AMEN! As always I produce a slide show of the event with music. I would like to share this with all of you,  hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we enjoyed doing it. Have a Blessed Day and God Bless!

I Miss My Friend Gary Gregory!

Try as I might, I cannot get over the passing of my friend Gary. I miss him so much that I put together a little program for all to see. This was one of the best trips that the Gallo's  and the Gregory's took. I have so many great memories of my buddy....Love you and miss you Gary...

Thanksgiving 2014, Pigeon Forge, Tn

It has been a great week here in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Pat and I are so Blessed and we thank God everyday. I have put together a little slide show for memories.

Another Milestone in My Life

My oldest grandson graduated from Manatee High School this year. He is the third generation to do so at Manatee. I graduated in the late 50's and both of my lovely daughters graduated in the 80's. It was a dream come true for me to be able to attend and see this. At my age you treasure each day you have and things like that are very special. The next thing on my bucket list is to see my youngest grandson to do the same. It would be very hard for me to explain the emotion that I had sitting in that stadium and seeing him walk across the stage. I also hope I can view that as he now will attend Southern Ill University which is located in Carbondale Ill. I hope that you enjoy this little slide presentation as much as I do. God Bless All!

Manatee High School

Today I visited my high school, Manatee High School. What a great feeling to be on the grounds and remember the greatest time of my life. I moved to Bradenton in October of 1954, that was the beginning of a new life for me. Leaving Miami and all the friends that I had been in school with from 1945 to 1954. I thought it was going to be a tough transition, it was not. I found all the people that I met to be extremely friendly and nice. I remember sitting in the second floor rooms and looking out the windows and day dreaming. In the early mornings you could feel and smell the fresh air. There was no air-condition in those days. Most all of the teachers love teaching and love the kids that they taught. The fifties was a great era to grow up in. Looking at Joe Kinnan Field, memories of Friday night football games flowed through my mind. Every body in Bradenton was at those games, after the game we all went to the teen club. The El Patio Drive Inn restaurant was jammed up also...

My Grandson Tyler is my World.

I am so fortnate to have been Blessed with a great family. At this time in my life I wish to live long enough to see my grandson's grow up and begin their own life as we all have. At this time my Grandson Tyler is 17 and Luke is 10. Tyler will be going off to college and begin his first steps in developing his own life. I pray that God will keep him close, and guide and direct all that he see's, hears and says. I am so happy for him that every time I think about it I tear up, I love him so much. I claim this verse for him! Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord .

Thanksgiing 2013

Another great Thanksgiving with the entire family. We spent a great week with our two daughters and their family. We always enjoy this time of the year as it is the only time of the year we all get together. It might be the last full family in the mountains as our oldest grandson will be going off to college next year. If life follows its natural course he will probably meet some nice young girl and go home with her on Thanksgiving. As I watch life move along quickly I realize how Blessed Pat and I are. Two great of each, daughters, grandsons and son in laws. As our life travels along Gods plan I am aware more each day of his presences. He has over whelmed me with a great Blessing in life, His love, my wife Pat and my family. Say what you want, but it does not get any better than that. I will share a few pictures with you if you wish to view them. May God Bless all of you and keep you safe.    This is what the Lord says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you...
