Another Mile Stone!

It has bee a wile since I have written in my Blog. Facebook seems have taken my stories and pictures away from it. But I would like to share with you that Pat and I are enjoying our 74th and 70th birthdays. We went out for supper last night to a very neat restaurant called " O'Shucks". It is located in the 12000 block of Cortez Road in the village of Cortez. Pat had her usual, veggie plate God Bless her). I had a great delicious serving of, fried mullet, cheese grits and collard greens. (wow was it ever good).

 

This past Sunday Pat and I were with friends at the Elks lodge on 75th street. They had a Birthday cake for the both of us. It was a very enjoyable day for the both of us. Pat was really delighted as she was the youngest person there.

I plan on telling my grandsons this comment, I will share it with you who are reading this, all 2 of you!
"You are not in control of your life, but you are in control of your decisions, your decisions will shape your life"!

The good Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, But mosquitoes come close.　

Death has the power to end life. Death has the power to separate. Death has the power to discourage and defeat us. But, we know the truth; Jesus lives! Because he lives, we know we will live with him. We believe that his victory over death is our victory. So like Jesus, we mock death and its power to destroy us. Jesus has destroyed death and brought immortality to life... in us through the Gospel.
