Our week end started on Friday night with a bang. Pat and I and the Gregory's went out to supper to Pier 22 and then to the Manatee Players to see Happy Day's. That night was great and we all had a great time. Since Luke was playing football at 11:00 AM on the Island Saturday we know what our day was going to be. Then the bottom started to fall out, as Darenda now had the flu. She called us and ask if Pat could take Tyler to Lacrosse clinic at IMG. Tyler will be playing for Manatee HS when they start their Lacrosse team this year.
Look out Tebow here comes the mighty one, Luke Marvin!
Pat took Tyler and I headed to the game on the Island to watch Luke, they lost 13 - 7 but it was a good game. Luke's other grandfather from Virginia was there also. Pat showed up a little late but saw must of the game. As we were leaving and talking to Doug and Luke, Doug coughed a little and Pat asked him if he was getting it. He said 'oh no", I am OK.
Doug's father went to see Tyler at IMG and brought him home. Luke then decided he did not want to be around sick people and went back to the Island to visit his grandparents. That night Doug and Tyler both got the flu and now it all fell apart. Today there still are three patients and the starter of this Luke, is doing fine as he went to school today.
So, so much for the week end, but I think everyone is getting a little better.
