I have found a new trade! (will not quit my day job)

During the week I noticed that some of my stucco was bulging a little. I took a putty knife and started to scrape a little off and continued until I scraped a lot off. I really had no idea what I was getting my self into but I found out quickly. The job was too small to call a stucco man and if he came he would have charged the heck out of me. So I took it upon my self to try and do the job myself. After the scraping I then painted a coat of concrete primer on it to help with the bonding and sealing. Then I began to stucco the next day, I could have done and will do a much better job next time. I really figured it out as I was finishing it up, but what the hay...did not cost me a bundle. As you can see I have now painted it and the new paint better hurry and fade or my neighbors will call code enforcement on me....ha

I know you might ask, what the heck is that stuff, well it is another dish of tomato gravy over biscuits. A month or so ago I made tomato gravy using just plain diced tomatoes. My son- law Doug who loves tomato gravy told me that it looked good. He said he would have to have hot sauce to make it better. So I decided that I would try it with Rot tel, WOW cleared my sinus out fast. If he uses hot sauce on that he is a better man than I am. I plan on make it for both my son-laws at Thanksgiving and maybe Sandy will try it, Darenda won't I know. Of course my sausage gravy will also make an appearance on one morning.

Will take care, from the kitchen Chef of never, never land.

Have a Blessed day and be Blessed.

Today's Bible Verse:
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” -Hebrews 4:12

Rembering the past!

This past week end I took a stroll down memory lane. I coached little league football in the 70's and now I get to look at finished products. The head coach that you see is John Cucci, I coached John when he was 9,10 and 11 years old. He then went on to star at Manatee High School and then played at Marion Military Institute in Alabama.

I can remember coaching and watching John play and I always hope that coach Kinnan would like what was sent to him. I believe he did, as John did an excellent job for Manatee. I guess he never forgot what was taught to him in little league as he now coaches it. And I might say he is very successful as a coach as he is undefeated. Oh, John is a fashion breaker, check out the new coaching hat!

I saw some familiar faces out there, Bob Gagnon who is the principal at Manatee HS. I also saw coach Rod Frazier, he must have been on a recruiting mission for Manatee...ha. Kathleen Cucci who is John's wife was also there. She is the beautiful red head sitting in front of Principal Gagnon. John's son is number 34 and Bob's son is number 1.

I really enjoyed the entire morning, thinking it is great to see the young coaching and playing....life continues on its merry way.

Have a Blessed day and be a Blessing to someone.
