Yea! a new project...

In 1985 when I built our house I put some plumbing under the house. The plumbing was connected to my well system and I put two hose bibs on the house also. For years when ever I wanted to use the well at one of the bibs I had to run a lawn zone with it. Every time I watered my yard with the different zones there was constant water pressure under the house. That concerned me and I disconnected the line several years ago.
With all the sodding That I have been doing I have had to water with a zone system. Otherwise which ever zone the sod was in that is the zone that watered it. I finally thought that it would make more sense to have the bibs hooked back up. But this time I did it right as I had and extra zone on my time clock that was not being used. I did a little piping as you can see and connected a solenoid to that zone so it can be connected and run by time. Man does that ever make it nice for me to water the new sod. It is all on a time clock and goes off and on just like on my watering day. Just took me over 20 years to finally figure that out!
Have a Blessed day and be Blessing to some one.

Another great week!

My Blog will start with Thursday as that is the night we watched Luke Play Baseball. Luke has been playing short stop for most games now and doing real well. He is hitting the ball with some confidence now also. I was only able to stay for a little while as I had a club meeting that I had to attend. Some of the pictures are of him out at short stop and one is him hitting the ball and then running to first. He was thrown out at first but advanced both runners that were on base. This put them in scoring position which they did.

On Friday night we went out to supper to celebrate Tyler's 14th Birthday....geeeeeez 14, It is hard to believe. Tyler selected a Japanese restaurant for his choice. This is were they cook your food right in front you. This is the 2nd time that we have been here and it is really good food and plenty to eat. Tyler took a take home box with enough food in it to feed an army. But I am sire he could eat it all by him self.

After supper at the restaurant we went to the Marvin's to open gifts. As you can see there was a few for Tyler to open. Cash and checks are always part of the gifts, that way he can buy what he really wants. Darenda had baked a cake but had no candles, so as you can see we had to make shift for one for him to blow out.

On Saturday they both had ball games, Tyler had a great defensive football game and Luke had a great game also. He went 2 for 2 and was givien the game ball. The next move was going to the Bowling Alley and they both had a great time. Luke had his party there with lots of friends. Tyler has a few buddies with him, and everyone seem to have a ball eating and bowling. Check out dad, seems like he is looking at his Blackberry, or is he. ha ha.

Saturday night we were back at the Marvin's for Luke to open his gifts. As you can see there also was plenty for him to be happy about. The Red Skins shirts are from Doug's parents up in Va. The boys are very excited about being Skin fans. Dough told them he expected them all decked out this fall for each game.
Well, that it for the week s worth of Blogs. Take care be a Blessing to some one to day.
